Career History

After graduating from university, I worked in the international department of a major general contractor for about 24 years. During this time, 14 years were spent working abroad, visiting more than 20 countries in the process. After an early retirement in December 2021, I moved to Nagano where, utilizing my past international experience, I decided to open a guiding business guide for inbound tourists from the summer of 2023.

I personally love activities that allow me to enjoy nature from the sea, land, and even the air. Currently, I’m able to fully enjoy the charms of Nagano through cycling, trail walking and paragliding. I also have experience walking the World Heritage pilgrimage route of the Camino de Santiago and the Kumano Kodo (Certified as a dual pilgrims).

My role is to use these experiences to help our guests enjoy Japan’s nature, culture and history to the fullest with ease.
